We are testing out the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X vs Ryzen 5 5600X3D to see which performs best for Gaming and Content Creation.
For years, AMD has been offering great value with its mainstream CPUs. And this is the first time they’ve released a Ryzen 5 model with 3D enthusiast graphics. The Ryzen 5 5600X is a six-core, 12-thread processor, while the Ryzen 5 5600X3D is an eight-core, 16-thread processor. These new CPUs offer incredible performance compared to their predecessors and different price tags.
There are some slight but significant differences between these two processors. The most obvious difference is that the Ryzen 5 5600X3D is the 3D Cache Technology that makes it more powerful, allowing you to run more demanding games and applications without experiencing any performance penalties. The second difference is that the 5600X3D has a higher clock speed than the 5600X. This means that it can launch applications and games faster than the 5600X.
So which should you buy? And how do they stack up against each other? To get the answer to these questions, we did an experiment between these 2 CPUs and ran some games to see how much difference they make between each other.
