MSI 2023 Studio Laptop- Keyboard and Touchpad
MSI’s this Stealth 17 laptop comes with a SteelSeries-made keyboard. It comes with Chiclet GG Client Keys manufactured in collaboration with Nahimic Companion. Each key on this keyboard has customizable RGB Lighting along with shallow Key travel, and each key has a compact size compared to normal laptops. Although this is a thin form factor high-end laptop, it has a 100% keyboard which is absent on many newer laptop models.
The touchpad of this keyboard has a glass-type feel to it. It is big enough, and no separate click buttons are visible here. The touchpad is right in the middle for both left and right-hand users. It is accurate and provides exceptionally smooth feedback when gliding on it with your fingers.

MSI Stealth 17 laptop comes with a dual speaker audio system. The highest amount of sound it can hit is 90dB from our tests. The audio quality is very good, and negligible noise distortion can be found when the volume is raised to a certain level. It also delivers superb sound quality through the USB and 3.5mm jack when you connect any wired headset. The sound quality is equally excellent if you also get a pair of wireless headphones.

Webcam
Stealth 17 laptop of MSI comes with a good quality 1080p webcam paired with a 2MP sensor. It provides you with a clear picture with no black spots. But the inbuilt microphone that comes with the webcam fails to catch a sufficient amount of audio or voice if you are not using a separate microphone. This webcam is excellent for daily video calling and broadcasting.
MSI Stealth Studio Laptop- Noise and Thermal
MSI Stealth A13V Laptop features a massive vapour chamber cooling unit that almost covers 50% of the PCB unit of this laptop. It comes with five premium heat pipes and two cooling fans. The large air vents are on the front and lower sides.
Our testing shows that even with the Coolerboost 5 Technology, the laptop’s body gets warm when processing simple tasks. When under heavy load, the keyboard area and the rear bottom part tend to get very warm. And yes, because of that, the heat can be felt on all the keys. From our testing, we have found that the highest body temperature was around 58 degrees when playing Witcher 3 and while it stayed between 25-30 degrees on idle.
When Stress tested, the GPU reached a maximum of 90 degrees Celsius while the CPU temperature stayed at around 75 degrees Celsius! But surprisingly, we didn’t notice any lag or thermal throttling even when gaming and rendering for longer hours.
