Intel 13th Gen Processor incoming with more Performance and Efficient Cores! AMD to face a tough competition!
Looks like there is a cold war is going on between Intel and AMD. Currently, Intel’s Core i9-12900K CPU holds the tag of being the “Fastest CPU in the World” and AMD also announced their upcoming Ryzen 7000 series CPU. But Intel dropped a nuke bomb again as they claim to be working on their 13th Gen CPU.
According to leaks, the 13th Gen Raptor Lake powerful processor from Intel is already on the testing level. With a very powerful configuration, it will have 24 Cores and 32 Threads. The 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient core architect designs make it one of the most efficient processors again for PC Gamers.
Intel’s Executive Vice president and General Manager of the Client Computing Group, Gregory Bryant have given his statement at CES 2022. He says that this processor is still in prototype mode as an engineering test sample. It is currently being tested at 1.8GHz.

With more P and E cores, surely it will increase the competitiveness of the PC Gaming Market but one thing is still not clarified yet. Intel’s latest Alder Lake officially doesn’t support AVX-512 instructions. Thus motherboard vendors had left a backdoor to enable AVX-512 on the hybrid chips.
And after this, Intel eventually rolled out a new microcode to manufacturers to altogether disable AVX-512. So what will happen with this new chip? Will Intel draw their attention to this?
Here is what you can expect the upcoming Intel 13th gen Processor lineup would be like
- Intel Core i9-13900K (24C/32T/68MB)
- Intel Core i7-13700K (16C/24T/54MB)
- Intel Core i5-13600K (14C/20T/44MB)
- Intel Core i5-13400S (14C/16T/37MB)
- Intel Core i3-13100S (4C/8T/20MB)
- Intel Core Pentium S 13th Gen (4C/4T/10MB)
As previously said, this is a prototype, an early engineering sample in the lab. So more testing results will come and we will post about it. Till then, enjoy your gaming!
