Asus PG42UQ 42inch Gaming Monitor – What’s Inside of the Box?
Asus’s PG42UQ Monitor comes with a big box that holds Asus’s traditional design for other monitors. The Monitor’s weight is not so heavy, and a person can carry it. But since this is a display panel, you should handle it carefully to avoid scratches on the screen. In other monitors, we have seen that the accessories things of the monitors come in plastic or cardboard boxes. But for this Monitor, Asus has placed them in a separate zipper plastic bag, which is much easier to manage.
Inside the bag, you get a power cable, a latest gen HDMI 2.1 connector, a display cable, stand fitting screws, and remote control. It also includes the warranty card and manual guidebook for the Monitor. The metal stand of the Monitor comes with impressive rubber-grip feet for much more sturdiness.

On the back side, there is a Harman/Kardon speaker placed on the left portion and a big ROG logo on the right amount part that holds the heatsink is exceptionally thick and has a hole to keep for mounting the webcam or other camera devices. There are also some holes on the backside of the Monitor for which you VESA mount it on your wall. The dimension of this Monitor is 931x610x10 mm. The panel display of this Monitor is fragile, but the attached backside portion is very thick.
After fitting the Monitor with the stand, the Monitor can be tilted between 4 and -5 (minus) degrees. But unfortunately, this Monitor does not have the features like vertical or horizontal rotating options or height adjustments like Benq monitors. A control panel joystick is on the bottom, below the RGB ASUS ROG logo.
