This non-X version of the AMD Ryzen 9 7900 Performance will show us how it performs in gaming and software-related applications.
This year, we have seen several new CPUs launched into the market from both Intel and AMD. AMD recently launched their new lineup of the non-X versions of the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors. This new lineup includes AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Ryzen 7 7700 and the Ryzen 9 7900.
The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 belongs to the Raphael family and has been manufactured with an AM5 socket design. This CPU is the latest addition to the Non-X version of AMD CPUs with a low TDP design.
This CPU has a lower price tag than the last generation of Intel Core i9 12900K. Although it is not an X series CPU, it delivers great performance within safe and regular temperatures. We built a special gaming system to test its performance and give you an idea about its benchmarks.
Since this is a Ryzen 9 chip, it would make sense if we included more Software rather than games to benchmark it better and also because this CPU will be targeted towards power users who will be multitasking, running high-end software more rather than gaming.
So without further delay, check out the all-new AMD Ryzen 9 7900 CPU Performance Review.

AMD New Gaming CPU- Final Verdict
From the above chart list, we can see that this CPU can deliver more than 100fps in almost all games by keeping a safe temperature for both 1080p and 1440p resolutions and the performance was remarkably smooth. We haven’t found any FPS drop, lag, stutter or similar types of issues while both gaming and running the benchmarks. The CPU temperature stayed between an average of 60 degrees celsius throughout the whole time.
The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 is also good for your daily workloads, as you may derive from the software benchmarks. It can handle multitasking and can run all CPU-intensive software with ease. Also, while running this Software benchmark experiment, we found no issues with this CPU. But somehow, we feel that $429 doesn’t justify this CPU according to its capabilities.
