AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Performance Review

We tested the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Performance to see if this R7 7700 non-X is good enough for gaming and productivity in 2023.

A few months back, AMD released the X variants of their all-new Ryzen 7000 Series Processors. These included the Ryzen 5 7600X, 7700X, 7900X and the 7950X. But because of their high pricing, it was not very well received by the customers and was also falling behind the Intel Core i7 13700K Processors.

To counter that, at CES 2023, AMD recently released their new Non-X version of this Raphael Series CPUs. This new lineup includes AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Ryzen 7 7700 and the Ryzen 9 7900, which are supposed to be slightly lower powered than the X Versions.

This all-new AMD Ryzen 7 7700 features the latest AM5 socket and is an 8 Core 16-thread processor that is best for multitasking. It is a 65W Processor with lower boost clocks and lower Power requirements than the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. This Processor supports DDR5 Memory but doesn’t support the DDR4 memory modules, and it is priced 70$ cheaper than the X version. You will get an AMD Wraith Prism Cooler along with the R7 7700.

So without further delay, let’s quickly check out the all-new AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU Performance.

AMD RYZEN 7 CPU- Final Verdict

The above chart list shows that this AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU performs as well as we would expect. Even being a mid-tier CPU, it can provide 60fps in almost every game at 4K resolution. The temperatures were all inside the safe zones, and all the credit goes to the Noctua Cooler that we are using.

We can also see that there are no issues with the benchmark results from the software. But the turbo boost speeds are not as good, and we can see no development in the list. So in terms of boosting, this CPU will unnecessarily draw power but keep the results the same. Besides, this price is only $329, which can be a direct competitor to the Intel Core i5 13400F.

So this was all about AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Performance. If you think we have missed anything, let us know in the comments below.

That’s all, Folks!
