Dell has recently launched an Ultrasharp series monitor model in the market, UP3218K. It is an 8K monitor which has a resolution of 7680x4320p. The primary target market for this monitor is those customers who are professional photographers, video editors, and CGI or VFX Artists. For the connectivity and the ports. We were expecting much HDMI port for this 8K monitor, but unfortunately, there wasn’t one. In this case, we can say that Dell could have manufactured this monitor with an HDMI Port because HDMI input is a standard for every other modern display device.
Not many people have a system with a Display Cable output, so it can be a disadvantage if Dell decides to make affordable 8K monitors without HDMI Ports. Display Cable is only required when you have a 120Hz panel.

Dell’s this monitor comes with a slim bezel design with a durable whole-body aluminium build. You can find the DELL official logo at the bottom section of this monitor. With an 8.5 inches maximum thickness, it comes with the black and white colour of choice options.
The screen is manufactured with Anti-reflective features and 2H hard coating, which protects the screen from unnecessary scratches and provides a clear picture even under direct lighting conditions.
Dell has placed this monitor’s control buttons on the right corner side of the monitor. There are a total of 6 control buttons, including the main power button. For cable management, the stand of this monitor has a big hole from where you can pass the port and connectivity cables of this monitor. This monitor also has an option for 4.5-inch height adjustment and a full of 90 degrees rotational feature.

From our perspective, the display looks quite bright and vibrant on this monitor. The colours are also very much accurate, and you can make out the difference between the blacks and the whites. For example, we found every precise detail even when we viewed and zoomed out an 8K image. Viewing that on the big screen was like viewing a tiny particle in a big screen microscope. Not only in photos, but I also found some edge-to-edge detailing in 8K videos.
